Itinerary:
DAY 01: ARRIVAL DENPASAR – LEGIAN
Selamat Datang! Welcome to Bali. Upon arrival at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Denpasar with flight…You will be warmly welcomed by our English-speaking guide with your name as written on a piece of paper. Then transfer you to Legian and check into the hotel. 2 overnight stays in Legian.
DAY 02: LEGIAN – ULUWATU & KECAK DANCE (B)
Breakfast at the hotel and free day to relax after the trip. In the afternoon, transfer to Uluwatu temple where you will admire the fire dance at sunset time. Uluwatu temple (Pura Luhur Uluwatu) is a Hindu temple located in Pecatu, one of the Balinese temples of the sea, it’s located on the top of a 70meter high rock cliff overlooking the sea. In Balinese folklore, these rocks are said to be part of the petrified vessel of Dewi Danu, the goddess of water. Luhur Uluwatu is certainly one of the best places to enjoy the suggestive sunsets of the island. The amphitheater of the temple for Kecak dance is staged every evening at sunset time. This presents a story about an evocative Balinese dance in which the kidnapping of Sita and her rescue by Rama is represented and Hanoman as described in the Ramayana. The characteristic of this dance is that the accompaniment is not performed by Gamelan orchestra but by a choir 40 men who repeat in sort of Mantra, the word Kecak. After the performance, return to the hotel.
DAY 03: LEGIAN – HERITAGE & SUNSET TOUR – SANUR (B)
To fully enjoy the beauty of the island on this, you can start early in the morning. After breakfast at hotel, you start visiting the center of the island of Bali where we can visit some UNESCO’s world heritage sites, they are Batukaru temple, Jatiluwuh Rice Terrace, Ulun Danu Temple on Beratan lake. We will stop for lunch at a local restaurant (personal expenses), then continue to Taman Ayun Royal Temple and the last is Tanah Lot temple to see the sunset. We drive to Sanur and check-in hotel. 2 overnight stays in Sanur.
DAY 04: SANUR – DAY TOUR TO NUSA PENIDA ISLAND – SANUR (B)
Wake up early in the morning we will head to Sanur port to take a boat that will take to Nusa Penida Island from Sanur port at 06:45. We depart from Sanur by speedboat at 08:15 and arrive at Nusa Penida Island at 09:00. We will meet the driver (English speaking) who will take us to visit the most famous secret beach on the island. The first stop will be at Angle Billabong Beach and Broken Beach. Nusa Penida is full of spectacularly shaped places like Broken beach which is 150 meters walk from Broken beach there is a natural infinity pool where you can dive and enjoy the clearest water you have ever swam in. We will continue to Kelingking beach and Kelingking view point on of the most well-known and spectacular places to visit in Nuda Penida. The 200 meters drop overlooking T-rex beach is simply mind blowing. Lunch in a local restaurant (personal expenses). After lunch we drive to Crystal Bay is the name of a secluded bay with 200 meters stretch of sand on the west coast of the island of Nusa Penida. Despite isolation, the bay is quite accessible thanks to well-developed roads. In addition to its beautiful palm fringed beach, the bay is best known as one of Nusa Penida’s famous snorkeling and diving sites. Divers praise superb visibility, sometimes up to 30 meters. Return to Nusa Penida port and depart for Bali at 5pm. Arrival at Sanur port in Bali and return to hotel.
DAY 05: SANUR – KINTAMANI ART & SPRITUAL TOUR – UBUD (B)
After breakfast, we drive to Ubud and visit Mongkey forest, Ubud palace and the rice fields of Tengallalang with a stop in Kintamani for lunch at your own expenses. Then we will get to Panglipuran village and Tirta Empul for purification ceremony before checking into hotel in Ubud. The Tirta Empul is an important temple dedicated to ablutions. The Balinese periodically go to this place of worship to purify themselves under the sacred waters of the pools fed by the springs that flow from the mountainside. Tirta Empul literally means “sacred” (empul) “source” (tirta). The Pakerisan river near the village of Tampaksiring, originates from the sources, in the central mountainous area of Bali. Free program and dinner at your own personal expenses. Overnight stay in Ubud.
DAY 06: UBUD – LEMPUYANG TEMPLE – THE GATE OF PARADISE (B)
Departure from the hotel early in the morning around 04:00 with approximately 3 hours’ drive to visit Lempuyang temple. It needs to be visited in early morning because you can savor the magic of magnificent Lempuyang Heaven’s gate from where you will see the amazing view of Mount Batur. Mount Batur is often shrouded in fog, so it seems like you are walking through the gate of Paradise from this view. We will visit the Tirta Gangga water palace which is located in the northeast of Bali. This palace is Hindu holy river. We continue to visit Taman Ujung Palace, the king of Karangasem. This palace has a combination of Balinese, European and Chinese architecture with the three large pools connected by long bridges and beautiful paths. Then we will stop at the traditional village of Tenganan before returning to your hotel.
DAY 07: UBUD – SPEED BOAT TO GILI TRAWANGAN (B)
Early morning transfer to Padang Bay port for speedboat to Gili Trawangan. Upon arrival at Gili Trawangan, self-guided transfer to your hotel by horse-drawn carriage. Hotel check in at 02:00pm. 3 overnight stay in Gili Trawangan.
DAY 8 – 10: GILI TRAWANGAN – Free days at leisure on the beach (B)
DAY 11: GILI TRAWANGAN – PADANG BAY – BALI – AIRPORT DENPASAR (B)
Today we transfer you to Padang Bay then return to Bali by speed boat. Once arrived in Bali we proceed to transfer you to the airport of Ngurah Rai Denpasar for your onward flight. End of services.
