Day Tour description:
The tour starts early in the morning at 07:00am from Medan city where we will pick you up from your hotel or it is also possible if you want to start from the airport upon your arrival in Medan if your flight arrives in early the morning. Your journey takes you on a 3.5-hour drive through lush rubber and palm oil plantations to the enchanting town of Bohorok, situated in the Gunung Leuser Nature Reserve. Upon arrival in Bukit Lawang, meet the professional local guide and start a 3-hour jungle trekking in Gunung Leuser National Park to see the wildlife. This involves a walk through the jungle to explore the park. Steep, slopes, and dense vegetation will bring you the excitement of the rainforest. In this tropical primary rainforest, you can see the varieties of birds, butterflies, Siamang (long arm apes), different kinds of reptiles and sounds of birds. Then followed by traditional fun-tube rafting down the Bohorok River. Then we drive back to Medan and drop you off at your hotel. Tour ends.
