Itinerary:
Day 1: ARRIVAL SURABAYA AIRPORT – MALANG – BROMO
Arrive at Juanda International airport in Surabaya by flight schedule….
You will be warmly welcomed by our friendly tour guide. Then we drive directly to Bromo. It takes about 3–4 hours to drive. Afterward, you will stay overnight at the hotel around the village near Mt. Bromo and have free leisure.
Day 2: Mt. BROMO SUNRISE & TOUR – IJEN CRATER
Very early morning at 3:30 am 4WD (JEEP) to bring us to reach the parking area in Mount Pananjakan Bromo. Bromo Sunrise at Mount Penanjakan the most amazing views in the world! That’s fair enough reason to get ready as quickly as possible and set off on a hike in darkness alongside a few others. Most tourists opt for easy organized jeep tours to take them to Mount Bromo (2392 m) and Penanjakan viewpoint (2700 m). It takes about 45-minute to drive. Afterward, you are required to walk to the place known as viewpoint to see the sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as background. Afterward, your trip will continue to the amazing view on the slope of Mt. Bromo by passing the sea of sand. Our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area of mount bromo trekking. You are required to cross seas sand on the slope of Mt. Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) at the slope of Mt Bromo which will lead you to reach the peak of Mt Bromo. After satisfied to enjoy nice view in Mt. Bromo and around at at 08:00, we will escort you back to the hotel for having breakfast, take shower, packing, loading bags into the vehicle and then transfer you to hotel in Ijen Banyuwangi (the city of ijen crater located), it takes about 6 hours driving (include stop on the way for have lunch). Day 03: IJEN CRATER TREKKING – SURABAYA
Again, start very early in the morning around 03:00/04:00. The 4WD vehicle (jeep) will bring us to the village of Licin and then continue to the slope of Mount Ijen by passing through plantations and rainforests. It takes about 1.5 hours to get to Paltuding (Starting point trekking to Ijen). Arrive at the parking area of Mount Ijen (Paltuding) then it takes about an hour or an hour and a half to ascend slope of mount Ijen to reach peak of Ijen Crater and along the path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air & shady. Enjoy Ijen Crater Tour while resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy the best panorama of the lake of sulphate where reflects spectacular views in the surrounding walls to give the impression of a doom. The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing dangerous paths on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. This is really a dangerous and hard job. Ijen Crater Tour, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery in the crater of Ijen as one of God’s amazing creations. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth. After enjoying the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then descend the slope of Mount Ijen to the vehicles parking area where our vehicle is waiting to escort you to visit plantation. Afterward, after enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then you will descend the slope of Mount Ijen until vehicles parking area where our vehicle is waiting to escort you back to the City of Banyuwangi with stop for a while to visit plantations (cloves, cocoa), then continue our trip back to Surabaya for 5-6 hours’ drive. Overnight stay in Surabaya.
Day 04: SURABAYA – SIGHTSEEING – AIRPORT
Breakfast at hotel, morning you will have a short city tour in Surabaya by visiting the Heroes monument (monument which was built as a must-see cities of Surabaya and as a warning against the Indonesian national struggle), After that we will visit House of Sampoerna (the place where the first building of the largest, it’s located in the middle of a cigarette factory). Hereafter we will transfer you back to the Airport of Juanda for your onward flight. End of services.
