Itinerary:
Day 1: ARRIVAL YOGYAKARTA AIRPORT – YOGYAKARTA CITY
Arrive at Yogyakarta International Airport by flight schedule….
You will be warmly welcomed by our friendly driver. Transfer to the city of Jogjakarta. Check-in the hotel. 2 overnight stays in Yogyakarta.
DAY 02 : JOGJAKARTA – CITY TOUR & EXCURSION TO BOROBUDUR
Breakfast at hotel. Today you will visit The Jogjakarta Sultan Palace of “Kraton” which is built in grand and elegant Javanese architectural style, lies in the centre of the municipality. It was built in 1756 by Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono I. Next to the Kraton is the Taman Sari water castle, one a bathing pool for the king and his wifes. Then Kotagede, a neat, little and old town of Jogjakarta which was once the seat of the mighty Mataram kingdom, you will have the chance to visit silver works industry. Then drive to Borobudur, a Buddhist Temple located 42km west of Jogjakarta. It is one of the world’s most famous temple, standing majestic and serene on a hillock overlooking lush green fields and distant hills. The shrine is the world’s and most complete of Buddhist reliefs. Afternoon return to Jogjakarta.
DAY 03 : JOGJAKARTA – EXCURSION TO PRAMBANAN – SOLO
Breakfast at hotel. Today you will visit the magnificent Prambanan Hindu Temple. The temple is a 9th century Hindu temple compound dedicated to the Trimurti, the expression of God as the Creator, the Sustainer and the Destroyer. It is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia, and is one of the largest in Southeast Asia. Then continue to visit the nearby Sewu Temple, located within the same complex of Prambanan. Then drive to Solo at Mangkunegaran Palace, a classical repository of classical Javanese art and culture. It has numerous priceless treasures which is believed to be from Majapahit century. Overnight stay in Solo.
DAY 04 : SOLO – KEDIRI
Breakfast at hotel. From Solo drive to Sukuh Temple, which has a distinctive thematic reliefs from other temples where life before birth and sexual education are its main theme. Drive through scenic area of Tawangmangu and Magetan with its beautiful panorama. Arrive at Kediri in the afternoon, a lively city where one of the biggest cigarette’s company, Gudang Garam, is located. Overnight stay in Kediri.
DAY 05 : KEDIRI – MALANG – BROMO
Breakfast at hotel. Today drive to Mount Kelud to see its phenomenon, with its new-born dome of Kelud (this visit is subject to condition at the time). From Mount Kelud, heading to Malang via Batu. Malang a delightful town of well planned parks and wide, tree lined avenues. Once a major coffee growing centre, there is still a lingering and agreeable air of Dutch influence throughout this country town. From Malang, continue the drive upward to Bromo. Overnight stay in Bromo.
DAY 06 : BROMO EXCURSION – IJEN CRATER
Very early morning at 3:30 am 4WD (JEEP) to bring us to reach parking area in Mount Pananjakan Bromo. Bromo Sunrise at Mount Penanjakan the most amazing views in the world! That’s fair enough reason to get ready as quickly as possible and set off on a hike in darkness alongside few others. Most tourist opt for easy organized jeep tour to take them to the Mount Bromo (2392 m) and Penanjakan viewpoint (2700 m). It take about 45 minute driving. Afterward, you are required to walk till the place as known as view point to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as background. Afterward, your trip will continue to the amazing view on the slope of Mt. Bromo by passing sea of sand. Our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area of mount bromo trekking. you are required to cross seas sand on the slope of Mt. Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) at the slope of Mt Bromo which it will lead you to reach peak of Mt Bromo. After satisfied to enjoy nice view in Mt. Bromo and around at at 08:00, we will escort you back to the hotel for having breakfast, take shower, packing, loading bags into the vehicle and then transfer you to hotel in Ijen Banyuwangi (the city of ijen crater located), it takes about 6 hours driving (include stop on the way for have lunch). DAY 07 : TREKKING IJEN CRATER – DROP OFF BALI
Again start very early morning around 03:00/04:00, the 4WD vehicle (jeep) will bring us to the village of Licin and then continue to the slope of Mount Ijen by passing through plantations and rainforest. It takes about 1.5 hours to the Paltuding (Starting point trekking to Ijen). Arrive at the parking area of Mount Ijen (Paltuding) then it takes about an hour or an hour and a half to ascend slope of mount Ijen to reach peak of Ijen Crater and along the path, you will enjoy the stunning natural scenery with fresh air & shady. Enjoying Ijen Crater Tour with resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the lake of sulphate where reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like a doom. The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. This is really a dangerous & hard job. Ijen Crater Tour, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery in the crater of Ijen as one of God’s amazing creation. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth. After enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then descend the slope of Mount Ijen until vehicles parking area where our vehicle is waiting for escort you for visiting plantation.
